Any violation of section 9-7-5 of this chapter is punishable by a fine of not more than five hundred dollars ($500.00) or imprisonment for not more than ninety (90) days or both. The city may also disconnect any service that is in violation of section 9-7-5 of this chapter. These penalties are in addition to, and not in lieu of, any other remedy available to the city.
