A. Gas User: Any user of gas may discontinue the use thereof, by giving a written notice to that effect to the billing department of the gas system, and by a payment of all sums due for said service, including the month in which the notice was given.
B. City: The city shall have the right, at any time, to discontinue the delivery of gas to any user, on account of any emergent need or for the purpose of making necessary alterations and repairs, for such time as may be reasonable and unavoidable, and without notice in case of emergency.
