8-2-3: OPERATING POLICY:
   A.   Closing Hours Established; Permit: It shall be unlawful for any person, except officers and employees of the City, to enter upon or remain in any park or recreation area of the City between the hours of ten thirty o'clock (10:30) P.M. and eight o'clock (8:00) A.M. of any day, with the exception of designated, lighted, multi-use paths, or unless such person shall have been granted a temporary permit issued by the City Council to use or occupy the same during said hours. No overnight camping shall be allowed.
   B.   Swim, Bathe Or Wade: It shall be unlawful for any person to swim, bathe, or wade in any City water body or bodies. This shall also include entering a water body with wading gear designed for fishing activities, and use of any privately-owned float tubes, rafts, or boats. The City Administrator may allow the use of boats by written addendum to this chapter. The addendum may include access fees as approved by City Council.
   C.   Throwing Rocks Or Objects: It shall be unlawful for any person to throw rocks or any objects into or around the water body.
   D.   Release Animals: It shall be unlawful for any person to release fish, turtles, ducks or any other animal in or around the water body. (Ord. 1279, 7-8-2019)
