6-3-7: CRIMINAL PENALTIES:
Any person convicted of violating this chapter shall, upon conviction, be sentenced as follows:
   A.   A first conviction under this chapter shall be punished by a fine of not more than five hundred dollars ($500.00) or by imprisonment not exceeding ninety (90) days, or both.
   B.   A second conviction under this chapter shall be punished by a mandatory fine of not less than one hundred dollars ($100.00) but not more than five hundred dollars ($500.00) or by mandatory imprisonment for not less than ten (10) days but not exceeding ninety (90) days, or both.
   C.   A third or subsequent conviction under this chapter shall be punished by a mandatory fine of not less than two hundred fifty dollars ($250.00) but not more than five hundred dollars ($500.00), or by mandatory imprisonment for not less than twenty five (25) days but not exceeding ninety (90) days, or both.
Each separate violation shall constitute a separate offense. (Ord. 937, 12-9-1996)
