A. Annual License: Any person who shall keep or harbor any dog on his premises shall pay a city license fee per annum for each spayed or neutered dog, and a different fee per annum for each intact dog so kept or harbored on such premises. Licenses are available throughout the year but must be renewed on or before January 1 annually. The animal shelter shall issue all licenses and retain fees collected. B. Intact Animals: If an additional fee is paid at the time the annual license is issued the shelter will register the animal as breeding stock. If impounded, said animal will not have to be sterilized before being redeemed. (See current animal shelter fee schedule.)
C. Guard Dogs: All sites where guard dogs are used must have an inspection permit. The fee is payable at the shelter. (See current animal shelter fee schedule.) (Ord. 1067, 9-9-2002)
