A. It shall be unlawful for any person to give a false alarm of fire within the corporate limits, or to wilfully or carelessly destroy in any manner or injure any part of the fire alarm apparatus of the city. Any person violating any of the provisions of this subsection shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor.
B. "Medical alert" or alarms may be activated and require a public safety response. In the event the party(ies) activating the alarm is found to have done so and is not in need of immediate medical attention, the penalty will be a warning on the first offense and fifty dollars ($50.00) for each false alarm thereafter within a six (6) month period.
