Any member of the tourism development committee may be removed from his office by the city council. In the event a committee member fails to attend three (3) consecutive legally scheduled and advertised meetings of the tourism development committee, the committee may remove that member from the committee by a majority vote of the other members, subject to approval of the city council. Any vacancy thereby created on the committee shall be filled by the mayor and council. (Ord. 1186, 5-11-2009)
