931.17 CAST IRON FITTINGS.

(a) Cast iron pipe fittings shall be short body for a water pressure of 250 psi in accordance with ASA Specification A-21.10 or the latest revision thereof.

(b) Fittings shall be furnished with a mechanical joint conforming to ASA Specifications A-21.11 or the latest revision thereof.

(c) Fittings shall be coated with a bituminous coating in accordance with the Standard Specifications of the AWWA, latest edition.
