Any person found to be violating any provision of this chapter shall be served by the Superintendent of Wastewater Facilities with written notice stating the nature of the violation and providing a reasonable time for the correction thereof.
The offender shall, within the period of time stated in the notice, permanently cease all violations. If the violations are not ceased within the time set forth in the notice, the Superintendent is hereby empowered to revoke the sewer permit of the offender and to sever the connections of the private sewer with the public wastewater system.
