(a) No person shall park any vehicle in excess of the time allowed by signs posted by the Safety Director limiting the time a vehicle may be parked in such a space.
(b) This section excludes any special restricted parking spaces previously allowed by Council such as doctor’s spaces, ten minute parking at the Post Office, industrial parking on the west side of Main Street from First Street to ConRail Railroad, and parking at the police and fire station for police and fire department vehicles.

(c) Fines for overtime parking shall be one dollar ($1.00) if paid within one week from the issuance of the ticket and five dollars ($5.00) if paid between the first and second weeks. If the fine has not been paid at the end of two weeks the violator shall be guilty of a minor misdemeanor.
