931.01 RECREATIONAL BOATING AND FISHING.
   (a)   Recreational boating and fishing shall be allowed upon the water reservoirs owned by the City subject to the rules set forth in this section.
      (1)   Fishing permitted. Individuals fishing on City property must comply with all Ohio fishing laws, rules and regulations.
      (2)   Boat Fishing includes the entire area of the reservoir except that area within 100 linear feet of the influent and effluent structure.
   (b)   Watercraft.
      (1)   No person shall cause a watercraft to enter or leave the water of the reservoir, or to be docked, at any point on the shoreline other than areas designated by the City.
      (2)   A watercraft which is unsafe for navigation upon water shall not be permitted upon the reservoir.
      (3)   All watercraft must be properly licensed and have on board all appropriate safety and life saving equipment.
      (4)   No watercraft with a gasoline engine/motors shall be placed in or operated on the City reservoir.
      (5)    Watercraft owned by the City, County or State equipped with any type gasoline engine may, in the performance of an official function, operate on the reservoir.
      (6)    No watercraft in excess of 20 feet in length shall be permitted on the reservoir.
      (7)    Watercraft equipped with electric motors are permitted.
      (8)   The City assumes no liability whatsoever for the safety of watercraft, operators or persons upon watercraft.
   (c)   All boating shall be in compliance with all State watercraft laws.
