713.02 PERMIT REQUIRED; FEE.
   (a)    All proprietors or managers of transient theatrical exhibitions, public shows or games of whatever kind, name or nature not prohibited by law, for which money or other reward is demanded or received, in the City, shall, before opening their place of amusement and permitting any game, show or playing thereat, or before giving or allowing any exhibition, performance or show for which money or other reward is demanded or received, shall obtain from the Mayor, a permit authorizing them to do so. The applicant shall pay the following fees:
      (1)    For each theatrical exhibition, moving picture or public show the sum of not less than two dollars ($2.00) nor more than twenty-five dollars ($25.00) for each day or portion thereof that the same is conducted.
      (2)    For all other shows, performances or games of whatever name or nature not prohibited by law and for which money or other reward is demanded or received, and not otherwise provided by law, not less than two dollars ($2.00) and not more than fifty dollars ($50.00) for each day or fraction thereof that such performance takes place.
   (b)    This section shall not require the owner of any product of his own raising or manufacture to secure a license to show or exhibit his goods when no charge, money or other reward is demanded or received by way of an admission fee, for such exhibition, performance or show.
