§ 31.14  APPOINTMENT.
   (A)   Commencing with the next ensuing term of the Village Clerk, the Village Clerk shall hereafter be an appointed office rather than an elected one.
   (B)   Said Village Clerk shall be appointed by the Village President with the concurrence of the Village Board.
   (C)   The Village Clerk shall not necessarily be required to be a resident of the village.
