§ 30.02  QUALIFICATIONS.
   No person shall be eligible to the office of Trustee, unless he or she shall be a qualified elector, and a resident of the village, nor shall he or she be eligible if he or she is in arrears in payment of any tax, or other liability due to the village; nor shall he or she be directly, or indirectly, interested in any contract whatever, in or to which the village is a party; nor shall he or she be eligible if he or she shall have been convicted of any crime, malfeasance, bribery, or corrupt practices; nor shall he or she be eligible to any office, the salary of which is payable out of the Village Treasury, if at the time of his or her appointment he or she was a member of the Board of Trustees; nor shall any member of the Board of Trustees at the same time hold any other office under the village government.
