(A) The corporate seal of said village shall be circular in form, and be so constructed or engraved as to impress upon paper the words, and figures “Incorporated Nov. 15, 1899” within a circle formed by the words “Village of De Land, Piatt County, Illinois”.
(B) The said corporate seal shall be, and remain, in the custody of the Village Clerk of said village, and his or her successors in office, to be used by said Clerk, in all cases, provided for by the ordinances of said village, or the laws of the state; and in all such other cases, whereby the laws, and customs, of any state or nation, the use of the corporate seal of said village, becomes, or may be, necessary and proper.
