For the purpose of this subchapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
AT LARGE. Off the premises of the owner, and not under the control of the owner or keeper, or his or her agent, or servant, either by leash, cord, chain, or otherwise.
CAT. All members of the feline family, male or female.
DOG. All members of the canine family, male or female, and also pet foxes and wolves.
DOMESTIC ANIMAL. All animals such as are habituated to live in or about the premises of their owner or keeper, except for dogs and cats.
OWNER or KEEPER. Any person owning, keeping, or harboring a dog, or who knowingly permits a dog to remain on or about any premises occupied by him or her.
