In order to provide for reasonable interpretations of the provisions of this code, there shall be and is hereby created a Board of Appeals, consisting of the three City Council members on the Public Safety and Zoning Committee, with the remaining five City Council members as alternates. The Building Inspector shall be an ex officio member and shall act as Secretary of the Board.
