§ 2.26.010 DUTIES OF HEALTH OFFICER.
   The Health Officer shall be a legally qualified physician and possessed of requisite knowledge of sanitary science and of preventive medicine; and it shall be his or her duty to advise the Board in all matters relating to public health, and to superintend the enforcement and observance of the provisions of this chapter. Before entering upon the duties of his or her office, he or she shall take the usual oath of office and he or she shall receive such compensation as the Council may determine.
