§ 2.24.060 CITY RECREATION ACCOUNT.
   There is a city recreation account under the city’s General Fund for the city recreation program expenses and income and expenses of the recreation programs, and there is a Capital Projects Fund account for donations, and recreation program fees and park usage fees and the like, which are the duty of the City Treasurer to maintain. All monies raised by tax for recreation purposes and appropriated by the City Council or received by the recreation programs fees, fundraisers or donations or any other source shall be placed at the credit of such accounts and shall be disbursed and expended by the City Recreation Director in a regular manner. All city recreation program expenditures and claims against the city must be in writing, filed with the City Treasurer, allowed by the City Council and paid by warrant drawn upon the city treasury.
