§ 2.20.110 ABATEMENT OF FIRE HAZARDS.
   It shall be the duty of the Chief of Police, Chief Administrative Officer or their designate, upon the reporting to him or her by the Chief of the Fire Department, that there are any shavings, straw waste, or any other combustible material liable to or likely to be the cause of any fire within the city limits to order the removal of same, if any could be found, by the person or persons responsible, or by the person or persons upon whose premises the same may be located and upon the refusal of anyone notified to abate the nuisance created by such combustible material so being in such place it shall be the duty of said officers or of said Fire Department to notify the Mayor of such refusal and the person or persons so refusing shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor.
