§ 2.08.020 APPOINTMENT OF CITY ENGINEER.
   The City Engineer may be appointed in the same manner as other appointive officers of the city or he or she may be employed on a project basis with compensation as determined by the City Council, or the City Council may enter into a contract for engineering services by a qualified firm.
