§ 2.06.010 OFFICERS AND TERMS OF OFFICE.
   (A)   The elected officers of the city shall be:
      (1)   One Mayor who shall serve a period of four years; and
      (2)   Two alderpersons (City Council members) from each ward who shall serve a term of four years; provided, however, that every two years, four alderpersons (City Council members) shall be elected from their respective wards; that is, four alderpersons (City Council members) shall be elected every two years.
   (B)   All elective officers of the city shall have the qualifications as provided by the state laws.
