§ 2.18.060 BAIL.
   Any person arrested for a violation of a municipal law may be admitted to bail by giving bonds with security, to be approved by the City Judge, and if he or she cannot act, then the Chief of Police, in such sum as he or she or either of them may specify. The bond shall be conditioned that the defendant will appear at the time named therein before the City Court and answer to the charge for which he or she has been arrested. The bond shall be filed in the City Court, and if the defendant fails to appear at the time mentioned in the bond, the City Judge may declare the bond forfeited.
