§ 50.06  REGISTRATION OF RESIDENTIAL ON-SITE WASTEWATER TREATMENT SYSTEM INSTALLERS.
   (A)   No person shall install an on-site wastewater treatment system for hire that is not registered in the county. A person shall become registered by demonstrating competent knowledge of county and state on-site wastewater treatment system codes through successful completion of a test administered by the County Environmental Health Division, providing proof of bond for at least $5,000, and paying a $25 registration fee. Once registered, the installer shall be given a registration card and put on a list that is available to the public.
   (B)   For an installer to renew his or her registration card, he or she must provide current proof of bond for at least $5,000 and pay a $25 renewal fee.
      (1)   The card shall be valid for the current year only; January 1 through December 31.
      (2)   Annual renewal is required.
   (C)   An installer’s name shall remain on the register until he or she removes it or it is removed by the County Health Officer for failure to uphold the on-site wastewater treatment codes by violating a permit, not obtaining a permit, or otherwise falsifying an installation.
   (D)   The County Health Officer shall promptly mail or personally serve written notice to each person whose name is removed from the register. The notice shall specify the reason for removal.
