Any person, firm or corporation owning or occupying a building who shall fail to number such building or who shall fail to maintain the number of such building as provided in this chapter shall be deemed to have violated the provisions of this chapter, and may be fined a sum of not less than $25, nor more than $100 for each day’s violation.
