A) Dogs and cats not claimed by their owners within three business days in which the shelter is open to the public shall be deemed abandoned and may be adopted out or otherwise disposed of by Greensburg-Decatur County Animal Control.
B) No animal required to be vaccinated under state law may be redeemed until provisions for such vaccinations have been fulfilled. Payment of impoundments fees is not considered to be in lieu of any fine or penalty.

§ 90.05 Interference Not less than $250 nor more than $2,500
A) First offenses will be issued a warning (with exception of severe neglect/abuse) with corrective action to be completed within time designated.
Adoptions
Dogs: $100
Cats: $75
Cats pre-altered: $40
Adoption fees shall be deposited in the spay/neuter program fund and are to be used to pay the costs of vetting animals prior to adoption.
