(A) The City of Decatur shall supply one 64-gallon trash cart to each existing household constituting a user of City of Decatur sanitation services. Upon request to the Public Works Department, a user may:
(1) Add one recycling cart (64-gallon) at no additional charge per month.
(2) Exchange 64-gallon trash cart for smaller 46-gallon trash cart, which is suitable for a one to two person household.
(3) Add an additional 64-gallon trash cart for an additional monthly fee.
(B) The city shall provide the first trash cart and recycling cart to each user. Any additional trash cart shall be assessed a separate and additional fee per month.
(C) In the event a user sells or vacates a property for which the city provides sanitation services, trash and/or recycling carts shall remain with the property for use by a subsequent user.
