When any horse, mule, horned cattle, swine (either hogs, shoats or pigs), sheep, geese or goats are found running at large within the city limits, it shall be the duty of any police officer to capture and cause such animals to be confined and treated humanely until redeemed or disposed of as provided in § 90.04 of this chapter.
