6.04.010: DEFINITIONS:
The terms used in this chapter are defined as follows, unless the context otherwise indicates:
AT LARGE: Means off the premises of the owners and not under the control of the owner or a member of his immediate family or an agent or employee of the owner by leash, cord, chain or otherwise.
DOG: Means both male and female.
LEASH: Means a cord, chain or rope of the length to restrict the dog to the owner's property and, when the dog is off the owner's property, the leash shall not be more than eight feet (8') in length.
OWNER: Means any person owning, keeping or harboring a dog. (Ord. 180 § 1, 1968)
