5.08.030: PERMIT; APPLICATION; ISSUANCE; REVOCATION:
   A.   After the approval of the application for the permit and the bond by the Council and Mayor, the City Clerk shall thereupon issue a permit to the applicant for the privilege of installing, laying down, maintaining and operating a coaxial cable system for television signal distribution within the City, subject to the location and limitations contained within the application.
   B.   However, nothing contained within the issuance of the permit shall be construed as a franchise or exclusive privilege. The permit shall not be transferable without the approval of the Council and Mayor of the City.
   C.   Further, the permit shall be revocable at any time by the City upon due notice by the City that the applicant has installed or has attempted to install the coaxial cable or any part thereof other than as provided in the application on file with the City Clerk.
   D.   The applicant shall be given ten (10) days within which to remedy the violation complained of and upon the failure of the applicant to remedy the violation, the permit shall become immediately subject to cancellation and revocation.
   E.   The revocation shall be deemed complete upon written notice thereof from the City Clerk. (Ord. 134 § 3, 1953)
