A. The "Rules and Regulations Pertaining to Matters of Public Safety in the Construction and Operation of Facilities for the Transmission and Distribution of Gas", of the Public Utilities Commission of the State of Idaho, General Order 98, adopted May 31, 1955, and the provisions of "Gas Transmission and Distribution Piping Systems, Section 8 of the American Standard Code for Pressure Piping", 1955 edition, (ASA B31.18-19.55) on file in the Office of the City Clerk, are each adopted by reference as standard for gas installations in the City; provided, that in the event any of the provisions of the rules and regulations or the ASA Code should conflict with any of the provisions of this chapter, the State Rules and Regulations shall govern and be observed.
B. All amendments and additions to the rules and regulations and the ASA Code, when printed and filed with the City Clerk, shall thereupon become amendments and additions hereto if not in conflict with the provisions of this chapter. (Ord. 157 § 100, 1961)
