A. The function of distributing water through water pipes, to users within the corporate limits of the City, is enfranchised in the Deary water system. No permit shall be granted to or assumed by any other person, firm, corporation or association for the purpose of distributing water through water pipes to any water user within the corporate limits of the City, other than by the express consent by resolution duly passed and recorded by the City Council of the City.
B. It shall be a duty of the Water Commissioner to report to the City Council of the City any violation of this section and the City Council shall at once take legal steps to prosecute the violator. (Ord. 358, 2011)
