A. The work shall be inspected before backfilling, and if covered without inspection by the City, the contractor shall be required at his own expense, to uncover that work for inspection.
B. The contractor shall be responsible for notifying the Commissioner of Streets at least twenty four (24) hours in advance of the proposed time at which any excavation is to be backfilled and paved to allow the City to schedule inspection. (Ord. 205 § 5(d), 1977)
