The Health Department Donations Commission may accept gifts, grants, donations, contributions and/or bequests from any public or private source for the uses and purposes designated by the donors thereof to be used for the Dearborn County Health Department, which the Commission may consider appropriate, necessary or desirable. The Commission shall receive and approve, alter or reject requests and proposals for the use of money received and accepted for such purposes.
