§ 32.021 TERMS; VACANCIES; REMOVAL FOR CAUSE.
   (A)   All terms of office of Commission members begin on January 1.
   (B)   Initial appointments must be for staggered terms, with subsequent appointments for two-year terms.
   (C)   In order to ensure that the terms of the Commission members terms are staggered, the four initial appointments of the Dearborn County Board of Commissioners shall be for a one-year term. Subsequent appointments for these four Commission members will be for two years.
   (D)   The appointed member of the Dearborn County Council and the appointments by the Mayors of Lawrenceburg and Greendale shall be for two- year terms and shall continue as two-year terms thenceforth.
   (E)   A member whose term expires may be reappointed to serve another term.
   (F)   If a vacancy occurs, the appointing authority shall appoint a qualified person to serve for the remainder of the term.
   (G)   If an initial appointment is not made by February 1, or a vacancy is not filled within 30 days, the Commission shall appoint a member by majority vote.
   (H)   A member of the Commission may be removed for cause by his or her appointing authority.
