(A) This document establishes the Dearborn County Highway specifications and standards for new roadways and right-of-way regulations on existing county roads. This document shall replace any and all previous specifications concerning roadway design standards.
(B) These specifications shall apply to any individual or business working within the county right-of-way or proposed right-of-way, as well as any individual or business working under contract for the county. It is the intent of these specifications to establish a unified set of regulations pertinent to highway construction and maintenance within the county right-of-way or proposed right-of-way.
(C) The provisions of the most recent edition of the Indiana Department of Transportation Standard Specifications and Standard Sheets shall be adopted as the minimum requirement for construction and materials.
