§ 110.41 DEFINITIONS.
   For the purpose of this subchapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
   FULL YEAR PERMIT. A permit serving all the days in a calendar year, beginning with the establishment opening date, and expiring one year from that date.
   LATE FEE. A lapse in permit renewal of 45 days after the permit expiration date stated on the last valid permit issued.
   RETAIL FOOD ESTABLISHMENT. An operation that stores, prepares, packages, serves, vends or otherwise provides food for human consumption, including but not limited to:
      (1)   A restaurant, satellite or catered feeding location;
      (2)   A catering operation if it provides food directly to any consumer or to a conveyance used to transport people;
      (3)   A market;
      (4)   A grocery store;
      (5)   A convenience store;
      (6)   A vending location;
      (7)   A conveyance used to transport people;
      (8)   An institution or a food bank that relinquishes possession of food to a consumer directly or indirectly through a delivery service, such as home delivery of grocery orders or restaurant takeout orders, or delivery service provided by common carriers.
   TEMPORARY FOOD BOOTH ESTABLISHMENT PERMIT. A permit serving one day to eight days, beginning with an opening date and expiring from that date.
