For the purpose of this subchapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
ANNUAL TEMPORARY MOBILE FOOD VEHICLE PERMIT. A permit for a mobile food vehicle used to store, prepare, display, or serve food or beverage which are generally self-contained, movable, wheeled, towed, motorized, or non-motorized.
FULL YEAR PERMIT. Serving all days in a calendar year, beginning with establishment opening date and permit expiring one year from that date.
LATE FEE. A lapse in permit renewal of 45 days after permit expiration date stated on last valid permit issued.
RETAIL FOOD ESTABLISHMENT. An operation that: stores, prepares, packages, serves, vends, or otherwise provides food for human consumption, including, but not limited to, the following:
(1) A restaurant, satellite or catered feeding location;
(2) A catering operation if the operation provides food directly to any consumer or to a conveyance used to transport people;
(3) A market;
(4) A grocery store;
(5) A convenience store;
(6) A vending location;
(7) A conveyance used to transport people;
(8) An institution or a food bank that relinquishes possession of food to a consumer directly or indirectly through a delivery service, such as home delivery of grocery orders or restaurant takeout orders, or delivery service provided by common carriers.
TEMPORARY FOOD BOOTH ESTABLISHMENT PERMIT. Serving one day to eight days beginning with an opening date and expiring from that date.
