§ 70.06 TRAFFIC CONTROL SIGNS AND SIGNALS.
   (A)   The Dearborn County Transportation and Engineering Department shall:
      (1)   Conduct traffic engineering studies to determine placement of regulatory traffic control signs and signals that are reasonably safe and conform to the Indiana Manual on Traffic Control Devices;
      (2)   Place and maintain regulatory traffic control signs and signals on roads;
      (3)   Maintain a record of locations of all regulatory traffic control signs and signals on highways within Dearborn County maintained by the county; and
      (4)   Notify the Dearborn County Sheriff's Department of locations of all regulatory traffic control signs and signals on highways within Dearborn County maintained by the county.
   (B)   The restrictions imposed by signs and signals placed by the Dearborn County Highway and Engineering Department in compliance with this section and state law will become effective upon posting of such signs and signals.
   (C)   Any person determined to have violated the regulatory traffic signs and signals commits a Class C infraction.
