(A) Any employee, who qualifies under the provisions of state statute, shall be granted a parental leave of absence, without pay, upon request to the Council, upon the terms and conditions set forth at M.S. §§ 181.940 to 181.944, as they may be amended from time to time.
(B) Request for such leave shall be made in writing at least 60 days prior to the date on which the leave shall commence.
