(A) If a city police officer or other law enforcement officer notifies a dealer not to sell an item, the item may not be sold or removed from the licensed premises until authorized to be released by the police or court order.
(B) Said notification, if verbal, should be followed by a written order within 72 hours setting forth the item to be held and the reasons therefore.
