§ 52.014 REPAIR OF LEAKS.
   (A)   It shall be the responsibility of the owner or other account holder to maintain the service pipe from the curb box into the house or building.
   (B)   In case of failure upon the part of any owner or account holder to repair any leak occurring in the owner’s or account holder’s service pipe within 24 hours after verbal or written notice has been given the owner or account holder, the water will be disconnected and will not be turned on until the repair has been completed and the fee for restoration of disconnected service as set forth by resolution of the City Council has been paid. When the waste of water is great, or when damage is likely to result from the leak, the water will be turned off if the repair is not proceeded with immediately upon the giving of such notice.
