§ 52.008 DISCONTINUANCE OF SERVICE.
   (A)   Chapter violations. Water service may be shut off at any stop box connections, three days after mailed notices are sent, whenever the following occur:
      (1)   The owner or occupant of the premises served, or any person working on any pipes or equipment thereon which are connected with the city water supply system, has intentionally violated any of the requirements of this code relative to city water, or connection therewith;
      (2)   The owner or occupant of the premises served threatens to violate or to cause to be violated, any of the provisions of this code;
      (3)   Any charge for water, service, meter or any other financial obligations imposed, by the provisions of this code, on the present or former owner or occupant of the premises served is unpaid; and/or
      (4)   Fraud or misrepresentation by the owner or occupant in connection with an application of service.
   (B)   Unpaid construction costs. Water service shall be shut off at the stop box connection when it is determined that a sum equal to the portion of the cost of constructing city water attributable to the parcel or property, as determined by the assessment proceedings or pursuant to the provisions of § 52.032 of this chapter, has not been paid or is not in the process of being paid in regular installments.
