§ 50.079 HOUSE SEWERS.
   (A)   House sewers shall include sanitary drainage pipes inside or beneath the building served, and stubbed out a distance of not less than five feet as measured from the outside wall of the building, all to be maintained by the subscriber.
   (B)   Material used in the house sewer shall be free from defects, and of the following materials: cast iron, steel, brass, copper or lead and shall be installed in a workmanlike manner and all fixtures and fixture branches shall be provided with a proper trap.
   (C)   The specifications in divisions (A) and (B) above on house sewers shall apply to any building in which plumbing is installed or remodeled after the effective date of this section.
   (D)   In no case shall foundation drains, basement drains, roof drains or other surface water be piped into or otherwise allowed to enter the sanitary plumbing system.
   (E)   Any yard line in excess of 100 feet shall be provided with an approved clean-out opening.
   (F)   Any building, residential or commercial, which is moved, torn away, burned or otherwise abandoned, shall, within ten days thereafter, have the sanitary sewer connection sealed against surface water and sewer gas to the satisfaction of the city water and sewer system.
