A violation of this chapter, or of any permit, order, notice or agreement issued or entered into under this chapter, is deemed to be a public nuisance and shall be corrected or abated as directed by the County Agency or the Local Unit. In addition to any other legal or equitable remedies available under the law, any person creating a public nuisance shall be subject to the provisions of state law, this chapter, the Genesee County Sewer Use Ordinance, or other ordinance of the Local Unit governing such nuisances, including reimbursing the County Agency and/or the Local Unit for any costs incurred in removing, abating, or remedying said nuisance, as applicable.
