(a) The building sewer shall be constructed of either of the following types of pipe meeting the current ASTM specifications:
(1) Plastic (PVC) ASTM D 3034-SDR 26.
(2) Ductile iron, ANSI/A WW A C151/A2.51-02.
(b) If installed in filled or unstable ground, the building sewer shall be of ductile iron as specified above, except that other types of pipe may be used if laid on a suitable improved bed or cradle as approved by the Inspector.
