1062.06 PROTECTION OF PROPERTY.
   (a)   Destruction of Buildings, Markers, Monuments. No person shall, within any park:
      (1)   Willfully destroy, deface, alter, change or remove any monument, stone marker, bench mark, stake, post or blaze, marking or designating any boundary line, survey line or reference point;
      (2)   Cut, break, mark upon or otherwise injure any building, equipment, bridge, drain, wall, fountain, lamp post, fence, gate, hedge or other structure;
      (3)   Deface, destroy or remove any placard, notice or sign, whether permanent or temporary, posted or exhibited within or upon park property;
      (4)   Appropriate, excavate, injure or destroy any historical or prehistorical ruin or any object of antiquity, without permission of Council;
      (5)   Remove any fixed item of park equipment from its location;
      (6)   Remove any portable item of park equipment from its general location within a park, or remove the same from any park; or
      (7)   Place any item of park equipment in any stream or body of water within or adjacent to any park.
   (b)   Metal Detection Devices. The use of a metal detection devices is strictly prohibited in all City parks, City Property, or other public place in the City of Davison.
   (c)   Destruction of Plantlife and Natural Surroundings. No person shall, within any park:
      (1)   Cut, remove or destroy a tree, sapling, seedling, bush or shrub, whether alive or dead, or chip, blaze, box, girdle, trim or otherwise deface or injure a tree or shrub, or break or remove a branch, foliage, flower or a tree or shrub, or pick, gather, uproot, remove or destroy any flower, plant or grass; or
      (2)   Remove, or cause to be removed by use of metal detection or any other manner, any sod, earth, humus, peat, boulders, gravel or sand, without advance written permission from the City.
    (d)   Fires.
      (1)   No person shall willfully set on fire, or cause to be set on fire, any tree, woodland, brushland, grassland or meadow within or upon any park.
      (2)   No person shall build any fire upon any park property, except within the fireplaces, receptacles or open spaces furnished, approved and designated by the City for such purposes. No person shall use a portable barbecue device or stove using charcoal or other solid fuel.
      (3)   No person shall drop, throw or otherwise scatter lighted matches, burning cigars, cigarettes, tobacco paper or other inflammable material within or upon any park.
