1026.02 SIDEWALKS AND RAMPS.
   (a)   Material. Driveway approaches must be constructed with concrete.

   (b)   At Street Intersections. Sidewalks and ramps shall generally be placed one foot into the street right of way. Ramps shall be placed at all street intersections, shall extend to the curb in both directions and shall be in alignment with and an extension of the adjoining sidewalks. The construction of all ramps must meet current ADA requirements.
   (c)   Pedestrian Ramps. Pedestrian ramps shall be located centered in the ramp right of way either between sidewalks on opposite sides of a block, with an extension at each and between the sidewalk and the curb, or between a sidewalk and a public land parcel with an extension between the sidewalk and the curb at the sidewalk end. The construction of all ramps must meet current ADA requirements.
    (d)   Width. Unless otherwise required, all walks shall be a minimum of five feet wide. Walks in commercial areas shall be a minimum of five feet wide. Walks in industrial zones shall be of a width determined on an individual basis, but shall be a minimum of five feet wide.
    (e)   Line and Grade. All new walks shall be staked for line and grade by a registered land surveyor in the State for placement per approved plans. Sidewalk grades generally shall be maintained to provide positive drainage to adjacent curbs.
