1022.06 ALL CONCRETE SURFACE WITH INTEGRAL CURB AND GUTTER.
   (a)   Pavement Cross-Section. The various width pavements shall be built in accordance with the cross-sections shown in drawings on file with the City Manager.
   (b)   Jointing and Reinforcing Details. The engineer for the owner of the property shall submit details of jointing and reinforcing for the approval of the City Manager. In general, details shall be in accordance with The Design of Concrete Pavements for City Streets, as published by the Portland Cement Association.
   (c)   Material. The concrete used shall obtain a minimum strength of 3,500 pounds per square inch in twenty-eight days. The cement used shall be air-entraining with an air content of five percent, plus or minus one percent, by volume. The slump shall be at least one inch but not more than four inches. Concrete which does not meet the requirements of this paragraph shall be rejected.
   (d)   Base Material. Two to three inches of compacted sand shall be placed on the subgrade.
