808.05 REVOCATION OF LICENSE.
A violation of any of the provisions of this chapter or of the rules and regulations of the State Liquor Control Commission or of any provision of these Codified Ordinances, relative to the use of the premises or the conduct of any licensee, may be used as the basis for a request by Council to the State Liquor Control Commission that such license be revoked. This shall be in addition to the criminal penalty provided for such violation where applicable. Council shall, in matters involving revocation, by resolution, direct that a hearing be held before Council upon giving not less than three days notice to the licensee involved. Service of notice may be made as prescribed in Section 202.04 of the Administration Code. A majority vote of the elected Council members is necessary to carry any proposition to require revocation of a license.
