624.02 MODEL AIRPLANE GLUE AND OTHER TOXIC SUBSTANCES.
   (a)   As used in this section:
      (1)   "Model airplane glue" means any glue or cement of the type commonly used in the building of model airplanes, boats and automobiles, containing toluene, acetone, methyl ethyl ketone, ethylene dichloride, benzene, carbon tetrachloride, chloroform and other ketones, esters or alcohols, or other solvent or chemical having the property of releasing toxic vapors.
      (2)   "Other toxic substance" means naphtha, methanol, toxic esters, ethanol, ether, methyl cellulose acetate or other volatile substances containing naphtha, methanol or ethanol as active ingredients.
   (b)   No person shall, for the purpose of causing a condition of intoxication, euphoria, excitement, exhilaration, stupefaction or dulling of the senses or nervous system, intentionally smell or inhale the fumes from any model airplane glue or other toxic substance. However, this subsection shall not apply to the inhalation of any anesthesia for medical or dental purposes.

   (c)   No person shall, for the purpose of causing a condition of intoxication, euphoria, excitement, exhilaration, stupefaction or dulling of the senses or nervous system, intentionally use any seeds or parts of the plants known as the family of Ipomoea, Ololiuqui or marijuana.
   (d)   No person shall, for the purpose of violating, or aiding another to violate, any of the provisions of this section, intentionally possess, buy, sell, transfer possession of or receive possession of any model airplane glue, seeds or parts of the plants botanically known as the family of Ipomoea, Ololiuqui or marijuana, their derivatives or any other toxic substance.

   (e)   Any person offering for public sale any model airplane glue shall maintain a permanent record of transactions, recording the name and address of the purchaser, the date and time of the sale, and the substance and quantity sold to any purchaser of model airplane glue. Such record shall be available for inspection by any legitimate police officer at any reasonable time for a period of at least six months.
   (f)   Any person offering for public sale any model airplane glue shall first require proof that the purchaser is seventeen years of age or older and shall require identification in the form of a driver's license or other valid proof of age.
   (g)   The substances described in division (a) of this section shall not be displayed or stored in such a manner as to allow the purchase of the same without a request therefor being made of the vendor by the vendee.
